“A supernatural fight club?” Ursula asked her client with a chuckle, as if she couldn’t believe what he just said. But with a smile he gave a nod as if it was just a normal thing to say. Making the siren laugh some more while her fingers were playing with the hairs of his chest, leaning up against the side of his body while they laid in his bed. “Isn’t rule number one you don’t talk about fight club?” she joked with a smirk. Though, with a touch of her siren ways, she had put a sense of compelling to the word “talk” to urge him into continuing. Getting him to explain some more about this fight club he was speaking of as Joseph laughed with her. “Well, kind of. Though it’s really a place that grew due to word of mouth so I guess it’s more of being careful who we tell. Because it’s not exactly legal you see. The ones that are fighting do so to the death. But I doubt you’ll go squealing to the cops in California,” he said while relaxing and tracing her hip with his hand.

And the more he spoke about the fight club, the more she was getting curious. Though, she did have to say she didn’t like hearing it when Joseph said the fighters were captive supernaturals and forced to fight. Not even giving them a choice in putting their life on the line like that… making her think of some of the hard times Faron forced her to fight to survive. When she heard him start to talk about the current champion though that held the longest streak, that had Ursula become more interested with how he was describing the man.

Causing her to feel a sense of worry but hiding it as she was smiling and keeping the conversation going by asking, “A beast of a man? You mean like the way he fights?” And with a nod before giving a bit of a shrug, Joseph answered her with a bit of a yes and no. “That too. He fights like a savage and most often there is some form of dismemberment or worse. But he is also a beast of a man in size and looks. I think he’s like near seven feet tall, which make it great fun to watch when he partially changes during a fight. I believe he’s a werewolf.” His words causing her worry to turn into fear, which caused her to use the contact she had with him to see his surface thought while thinking of this wolf he was talking about. And in seeing what could be a blurred version of Kade in his thoughts, but unclear before it was changing, it made her have a spark of hope she might have found him.

So with feeling a sense of urgency about jumping on the lead before it was too late, Ursula easily used her voice and powers to get the location of the fight club before she lulled the lion shifter to sleep. Quickly getting dressed and hurrying out of the house and to her Nova.

----- AboutTwo Days Later -----

As soon as she had gotten to her loft, the siren had hurried on taking a shower and getting a bag packed to leave. She knew the drive back down to LA would take nearly 18 hours, and that she would reluctantly need to stop at a hotel on the way, so she wasn’t about to waste any time with the weekend coming upon her. And after nearly a whole day having passed since the moment she heard about this fight club that Kade was possibly at, Ursula found herself once more in the familiar city that had changed her life forever. So many memories coming back to the surface as she had driven through the streets and to a motel she knew would be safe to go to. But with those memories, it caused her to hope more that she would finally find him.

Especially if he was indeed a captive of this place and forced to fight like a wild animal. A thought that had her feel a mix of two different hopes of wishing to find him but not in a place like that… as well as fearful that if he was there it was too late. Though, she knew Kade and believed full-heartedly that he wouldn’t die that easily; even if in a pit of hell. So with having made sure to fit the dress attire so that she could easily blend in and appear as though she belongs, Ursula felt her heart ready to leap from her chest with anticipation as she was walking into the building that housed this arena of death.

When Kade had first been captured by that asshole, he'd struggled and fought against this place. He didn't want to be here, he couldn't be here. He had to go find Ursula and if he was stuck in this pit then she'd think he'd broken his promise to her.

Denial. At first he'd refused to fight, not because he was against it, but to just try and make a point of how he wasn't going to bow to their demands and authority. He tried to escape more than once. Steal keys from guards, threaten the guards to get him out or he'd snap their necks (which he followed through on), try and break out through sheer force.... his attempts and refusal met him with punishment, torture, but more than that it became apparent quick that there was magic in this place and the damn silver hanging heavy on his wrists and ankles. Shackles without the chains. He didn't know much about magic, but it was enough to keep him from ever leaving with these on. He knew that much.

Anger. Knowing that there was no way to escape for sure only managed to piss the Alpha off. He'd lashed out at everyone regardless if they were guards or prisoners like himself. He'd started fighting by that point, winning every match that they threw at him no matter the creature. It did little to help the rolling rage that had infected him to his core. The other prisoners he saw trying to make alliances, friendships, planning how to 'get out', but all Kade saw was competition. More things standing in his way. If he was the only one left then maybe they couldn't keep him here.

Bargaining. After five years Kade got a meeting with the proprietor with every safety measure they could put up to keep the beast from slaughtering him. Salvatore Adaams was a smaller man than Kade had expected, though he supposed most men were small to him. He was clearly dripping with cash though, and he certainly made no efforts to hide it. Kade tried to bargain with the business man for his freedom. What if he racked up so many wins, what if he did this or that.... All were met with silence until Kade tried to lunge, only being held back by the chains wrapped around his body. "The only way you'll leave this place is the same way everyone else does. When you stop being useful to me. Maybe in another five years we can speak again... if you're still alive."

Depression. Thrown back into his cell after the meeting, Kade flew between periods of rage and despondency. They'd taken him off the roster for a couple weeks, something Kade now realized was to make sure he didn't just let himself get killed in a match. All he could think of in that time was that he'd never see Ursula again. He'd never see his pack. What was the point of immortality when you had to spend it alone in captivity...?

Acceptance. Kade would never say he had grown compliant with his prison as much as he'd accepted that if he was stuck then he might as well survive. And if he was going to survive.... then he might as well enjoy himself doing it. He had always been a rough fighter, but there had been a flip of a switch in him around year seven where he just stopped caring. Stopped even seeing his opponents as people. They were an obstacle. An enemy. His fighting style became more brutal and he became a quick fan favorite, especially when he became the longest standing champion.

Time began to pass by faster with the only real markers being his transformation each full moon, but even that pleasure had lost its flavor for him. Trapped in a cage no matter his form, the night quickly lost any meaning to him. As the years passed and the man became more beast, all that really mattered anymore was survival.

Tonight was no different.

This weekend marked the club's twentieth year being open. From the outside, this place looked no different than any other high class brick building. The attendees arrived into a lobby where a bartender offered drinks, servers floated around the lobby with silver trays full of food for anyone to partake. Anyone curious enough to glance through would see nothing more than a stuffy party full of stuffy people complete with a pianist or quartet in the corner depending on the weekend. It was all a cover though so no one would think to look deeper.

When the doors shut and the bartender turned on the red light above an old oaken door, all the guests quickly flooded down the stairs into the basement. It was there that the real event of the evening was happening. The guests stood on a large cement ring with a nine foot deep pit in the middle. High metal railing kept anyone from leaning too far over the pit and from what was in the pit from getting out. Servers still floated around with drinks and were now offering to take bets for the upcoming match, but the atmosphere down here was much more primal than the sophistication paraded upstairs. The guests were a sharp contrast to their surroundings and yet.... it all seemed so normal to them.

Kade was scheduled for tonight. There was a vampire who had survived here for eight years now that Adaams had purposefully kept from fighting Kade so that they could set up a brawl when the moment called for one. And tonight was that night. The reigning champion versus the second longest surviving fighter here. Werewolf versus vampire. If nothing else.... Adaams knew how to draw a crowd. The guards were already whispering that this was by far the biggest turnout they'd ever had.

The wolf couldn't really care though. He'd been watching the vamp's fights for years, he knew his moves. He was confident he would still emerge victorious. Like always.

Standing behind the gate, Kade checked for the ring that allowed him to partially transform, stretching as he waited for the gate. He was not a showman and that was evident as the gate lifted and he prowled out into the ring, a growl already on his lips. The vamp was still in his alcove, he'd seen this before. The asshole always threw some sort of dramatic flair to his fights. Once the announcer introduced them, Kade waited, ready, his claws already distending. There was a rush of air as the vamp tried to run out and past him to attack from behind but Kade quickly spun, catching the leech's throat in his large hand and digging his claws in with a growl. Lifting the smaller man easily, Kade threw him hard against the cement wall.

Whether Kade was wanting this to last a little longer or if he was just wanting to see if the vamp could hurt him, Kade let the man get to a stand before running at him. He hated to admit that the man was a better opponent than most but the two kept up a back and forth of blows and dodging for about ten minutes. The vamp was healing like Kade was, but he could tell that the more blood the vamp lost the weaker he was becoming.

With the vamp in a headlock, Kade was transforming as far as the ring would let him - eyes a pale icy blue, long thick claws, pointed ears, and a mouth of fangs - to make sure he was strong enough to rip the leech's head off when he sensed the silver a moment too late. A roar ripped from his throat as the knife lodged in his side. He didn't know how the vampire got his hands on that, but Kade would make sure he didn't live long enough to use it twice.

Wincing, Kade ripped the knife out of his side and charged at the vamp who had mistakenly taken a moment to revel to the crowd at his tactics. The vampire tried to get away but his arrogance and loss of blood slowed him enough for Kade to catch his wrist, throwing him to the ground as the arm gave an audible snap. Kneeling over him and pinning him to the ground, Kade buried the knife in the vampire's throat and punched his fist through his chest claws first and ripped out the leech's heart with a grin.

Seeing the decay already take to the corpse, Kade got to his feet, heart still in his hand, and let out a roar of triumph, throwing the heart to the ground and ignoring the burning in his side.

Outfit

While Ursula could easily blend in with the high class life of luxury, even using that skill to charm the stuffed shirts and fat cats out of their money, it was not the true lifestyle she would want for herself. Sure she liked the money and being able to buy nice things, but who didn’t. No, it was the snobbery and sense of entitlement that was practically spewing from them that had the siren find it not of her real tastes. So with finding herself first having to rub elbows with her fellow guests, it was not something she was enjoying even if she was laying on the charm and giving off the appearance that she was enjoying herself. After all, even if she wasn’t interested in the boujee and was waiting for the main event this place was supposed to have once doors were closed and secured, she was trying to find out as much as she could about the fights and the one that ran everything.

And after an hour of talking to a few of the other guests, enduring even the small talk of fake introductions by calling herself Corinne, she was able to gather enough to shed more light on the very place she was standing in. Finding that tonight was an important night of celebration for the man named Salvatore Adaams… which meant a large fight between the top two fighters within the pit. It also meant that she had to find this Mr. Adaams and go digging in his head with her charming ways. A hunt she began in a casual manner by making her way through the crowd and using how she could naturally pull other’s attention to look at her in passing. That was until she finally found the man that ran the death house, focusing her powers on him to catch his attention and draw him into her.

Though, with the signal that the games were about to begin, Ursula turned to follow the crowd into the main area before Salvatore could approach her… using it to be more alluring to the man in giving him a hunt of his own. Just like most men loved, just like most vampires loved.

But as she walked down into the basement and found herself in a room with a large concrete pit within the middle, the siren was taken back a bit as she looked around. She could feel the thick and heavy change within the air, feeling the primal weight of bloodlust and excitement from the guests. Yet, she could also feel the heat of aggression and rage coming from the center where the pit was. And for a moment, Ursula felt herself being swayed a touch by the emotions around her that she momentarily lost sight of Salvatore as she moved closer to the railing. Because with the fight about to begin, she wanted to see with her own eyes if the one they talked about all night was her wolf… the one she had been searching for.

The moment the gates opened within the pit though and Kade came prowling out with a growl, Ursula had not been prepared on the possibility that it was actually him and found herself frozen like a deer in headlights. Suddenly clutching onto the railing she stood next to being the only movement she made as she watched the vampire he was fighting against rush out. Because in that second she saw him, the siren’s heart nearly stopped as she felt an explosion of her own emotions within her chest… overwhelming any that she could feel around her and forcing her to keep a tight lid on herself.

Which was a feat she could not let slip because of knowing there were others that could smell or sense her emotions. And as she continued to watch the fight, unable to even look away but knowing she was unable to do anything to stop it, it was becoming harder to cap the surge of feelings coursing through her. She was enraged that Kade was being forced to fight against a vampire like this, wishing to kill everybody in there that was taking joy out of his suffering. She was heartbroken that this was the life he was being forced to live for god knows how long, wanting nothing more than to rewind time back to the day they parted and convince him to leave with her. And yet, with watching him fight, she felt that familiar fire of desire inside that his aggressiveness always raised. Making her overjoyed that after this long she finally found him; wishing nothing more than to rush him right then and there to kiss him and feel his arms around her again.

But as soon as she saw the gleam of silver before it was stuck within Kade’s side, Ursula was struck with a strong spike of fear that had her hold her breath and fight not to move. Only releasing it in a sigh of relief and momentary excitement as she watched him finish the fight and holding the vampire’s heart in hand. A shiver running through her as his roar filled the place and the crowd cheered.

“Did you enjoy the show?” Ursula heard in a baritone voice with a touch of a Latin accent as it cut through the sounds of the crowd. Causing her to finally turn her gray eyes off the sight of Kade within the pit and find Salvatore Adaams standing next to her with his dark brown gaze upon her. “It was very intense,” she replied with a false smile curling upon her features as a mask. Even using some of her true feelings to hide the rest as she stole another glance towards the pit with a touch of excitement in her eyes, just in time to see the winner being escorted back into the alcove he came from while the dead body was being cleaned. And with looking back to Mr. Adaams, Ursula knew what she needed to do and once more began to focus her siren gifts upon the man before her. Getting him fixated upon her before planting the seed within him to take her below so that she could get an up close look at the savage that won the fight tonight in the hopes of exciting her more for his own ideas.

And as he was sneaking them away from the guests, leading her down to where he held the fighters, the blonde was using the skin contact of her hand with his to get into his head more. Asking questions about how he ran the place and how he kept such “animals” in line so that she knew how to free Kade. Listening to him giving her what she wanted to know as if he were boasting about it to impress her… which in truth was only making her want to watch him die all the more.

Yet… knowing that she needed him just a bit longer to release the one she was there for… Ursula kept the seductress act tightly on as she kept close to Salvatore while pushing more lust into him and smiling. Because with picturing his death, it made it easy to smile as he was guiding her further into the maze of concrete walls. Even more as they were finally approaching the cage he was keeping their standing champion… the sight of Kade within it making her chest ache with anger and longing. Which made it hard not to feel a breath hitch within her throat as Salvatore stepped them into view of the werewolf. Her eyes instantly looking to his as she stepped closer to the bars between them. And with finally using her voice on the vampire without looking away from Kade, she said two simple words; “Release him.”

Kade was only given a minute or two before the guards were pulling him back towards the alcove he'd come from to go back to his cell. One of the newer guards tried to physically guide him with a hand on his shoulder but one look from Kade had him correcting himself. The guards didn't touch him and he wouldn't touch them, it had become an unspoken rule in his captivity. Kade simply did not care for being manhandled by a bunch of children hiding behind magic restraints and their guns.

Hearing the solid click behind him as his door was locked, Kade went to his sink and washed his hands free of the vampire blood on them as well as the blood on his face from the fight. His nose hadn't been broken (again) thankfully, but it was definitely bleeding a little. He was mildly worried about the wound in his side but it wasn't gushing, so as long as someone came and gave him something to close it up, he was fairly sure it would be okay.

Still wired from the fight and no way to really expell the execss energy, Kade stretched his long limbs and tried to empty his head before sitting on his cot. Most of the men in here only dressed in a pair of tight athletic shorts, he often heard complaints from the others about how cold it could get, asking for more blankets, socks, anything. Kade just always felt too hot with the lack of airflow and his high body temperature. The only sign of something comfortable in his spartan cell was the lumpy pillow sitting on the cot.

Still smelling blood, Kade heard movement in the hall coming from upstairs though he couldn't tell who it was. There was a strong chance it was the King Asshole himself, considering Kade had heard he favored the vamp to win tonight. The wolf was about to ask his visitor who he had to 'thank' for the silver knife in the ring tonight when the blonde stepped into view and stole the breath right from his chest.

She was here. She was here.

"Release him."

The two words sounded normal to him, but Kade could see the effect that they had on Salvatore despite his own protesting. "Release this animal? He's dangerous. You can look my dear but I wouldn't reccommend you getting too close." He insisted, not even aware that his hands had already found the keys in his pocket and unlocked the door. Kade ducked to get out of the door, a look of sheer shock and surprise on his face at seeing Ursula here. She was like a solitary beautiful flower growing in a wasteland and despite her being the one here to save him, Kade still felt that compulsion to gather her up and protect her.

Later, he reminded himself.

Kade forced himself to look away from his love and back to Salvatore. "You're right, you shouldn't get too close." Kade spoke roughly, reaching out and wrapping a hand around the small man's neck. "Unlock my shackles." He demanded, Kade's fingers starting to dig in to Sal's cold skin.

Part of her was afraid that if she looked away from him that Kade would disappear, that this wasn’t real and just a dream. So even with hearing the protesting of Salvatore about her wishing him to release the “animal” he so called the wolf, Ursula didn’t take her eyes off him and was taking in the way he was looking back at her. “I’ll take my chances,” she even replied in dismissing what the vampire was saying as he unlocked the door, knowing that while dangerous Kade would never hurt her. At least not in the way she didn’t like when they would get rough with one another. Remembering even more vividly the firm grip he could have when holding her, when pulling her closer, when pinning her under his body in a heated night of wrestling.

Memories that made her skin ache for his touch the moment he was stepping out of his cell, watching how his body moved with fluidness despite his size as he was looking at her in surprise. And with feeling how he felt about seeing her again, it was making her want to reach out and bury herself against him. Not even caring if he still had the remnants of blood and sweat upon him while standing there. But with him looking to the vampire, she knew was not the time for that and that she would have to wait.

Especially as she watched Kade grab the other man by the throat with a rumble of words about indeed being dangerous, commanding the rich bastard to finish releasing him from his bondage there.

In response, Salvatore was grabbing onto the werewolf’s wrist as his fangs extended and eyes bleed to red; hissing at him. “No,” he even snarled in trying to stand his ground despite his fear of the wolf. And before he was able to remind Kade that if he killed him now he would never get the shackles off, Ursula once more used her voice on the vampire. “Do what you’re told,” she said to push Sal into once more doing what she wanted. “But he’ll kill me!” He snarled in protest even as his hand moved from the bigger man’s wrist to physically do as told. Hands shaking as he was finding the key he kept upon himself that was needed to unlock the shackles.

And with finally pulling her eyes off Kade for just a moment, she looked at Salvatore with a cold angry narrow of her gray eyes and replied with; “I know. So release him.” Pushing with her voice once more to make the vampire get to unlocking the shackles. Taking a small step back even to give room as she watched and waited for her wolf to be freed.

Kade only growled back in response to Sal's hissing. It might be seen as admirable that he was making a show of fighting back but that was all it was; a show. Salvatore was too much a coward to ever fight back himself. He relied too much on the muscle around him for that. Not to mention that Kade was sure that he wasn't going to be able to resist Ursula's control over him.

Salvatore's hands were shaking as he pulled the chain out from under his shirt that held the magical key to the bands on Kade's wrists. The wolf was unceremonious about ripping the chain from the vamp's throat to speed up the process, handing it to Ursula so she could free him.

Once both manacles had fallen to the floor with a heavy clunk and his wrists were free, Kade gave the leech a grin and snapped his neck with as much strength as he could muster. Carrying him into the cell and tossing the body on the cot, Kade broke off a leg of the wooden stool and buried it deep in Salvatore's chest until the decay started to turn the skin grey.

Maybe someone else would have thought about the other prisoners here but all Kade cared about was getting out of here. With Sal taken care of, Kade walked out of the cell and reached out to pull Ursula hard against his body. Without a moment of hesitation, he was leaning down to press his lips against hers with a mixture of desire and desperation and longing.

"Come on." The wolf whispered against the siren's full lips, "Let's get me out of this shit hole." Kade grinned, giving her ass a squeeze while pulling her tight to his body. He still couldn't believe that she was here, that she'd found him after all of these years, but he wasn't going to waste a moment in making sure they got out of here so he could thank her properly later.

With watching the way Salvatore trembled with fear as he pulled the key out, Ursula felt not one ounce of pity or remorse for what they all knew was coming. In fact, with watching the way Kade yanked the key free to hold it out for her to take only made her more excited for what was coming. So with taking the key as she stepped closer again, the siren made quick work in unlocking the chainless shackles and let them fall to the ground. Even tossing the key to the side while kicking the metal away from them as if they would try latching back on if near them. And as she looked back up at her wolf grinning at the vampire, the sudden sickening snap of Sal’s neck sent a small shiver through her and a quick exhilarated breath to exhale from her lips. Making Ursula want to literally jump on Kade even more.

Though remaining as patient as she could, despite the ache that felt as if it were growing the longer they were this close without touching, she watched as he finished the job. Giving the leech his true and final death for what he had done; leaving his rotting corpse within the cell that was now going to be his tomb. And for a brief moment, she thought his death had been to quick for what he had done to an alpha wolf like Kade.

But yet, his death filled the siren with anticipation. Because as soon as the werewolf turned his attention back onto her again, once more stalking out of the cell and up to her, Ursula’s heart skipped with finally getting to touch him. Even feeling it starting to race within her chest the moment he grabbed her and pulled her in to tightly press against his large firm body. Instantly pulling a soft moan from her throat after taking in a sharp intake of air through her nose as he pressed lips against her own. Causing the blonde’s head to suddenly swim as her arms were quickly wrapping around his shoulders, deeply kissing him in return as if he were the only source of water in a pit of hell. Wanting so much to wrap herself around him while he encompassed her.

Which nearly had a groan of protest slip from her chest as Kade pulled his lips back enough to whisper words of departing from the shit hole they were still standing in.

Instead of speaking that urge of protesting though, not wishing to move out of his arms now that she had them around her, the squeeze to her ass pulled out another soft moan from her while giving him a nod. Wanting to go someplace safe so that they could be alone for a proper reunion. “Do you know of a back way out of here? There are a lot of guards everywhere upstairs as well as all the guests,” Ursula asked while still holding onto him. Keeping what contact she could until they were set on path of escaping the house of death. “If that’s the only way out… I can use my voice to cause a massacre with how much bloodlust those cunts are feeling upstairs. Make a very large distraction for us to be able to slip out as they all fight each other.” As well as a chance to make them all suffer for what they had done. Wishing to make them feel what it’s like to be forced to fight to the death in order to survive.

Even having the thought of locking everybody inside so they couldn’t escape cross her mind. Her vindictiveness being fed by the rage and hatred of this place she could feel within Kade as he was holding her.

Listening to her speak, Kade had no intention of letting her body leave his until they had a plan and were making moves to leave. Until that happened, she was staying firmly in his arms. The question she had was one he could easily answer, but he attention was firmly on her alternative. "Well, I do know another way out." It was how they got the bodies out. He'd seen it by accident. It was hidden, probably smelled terrible, but it was unlocked.

Kade smiled down at her devilishly. "Your idea sounds a lot better though." It seemed more fitting. Why just kill Sal and get out of here quietly when they could give these fuckers everything they deserved and more? If they wanted to see bloodshed so bad then they could live through it. He didn't really believe there was anyone truly innocent here so why should he care who lived or died as long as they could escape?

Struck with an idea, Kade grabbed the shackles that Ursula had kicked away and let Ursula guide them back up the stairs to the lobby where everyone was mingling. The guards that they encountered on the way Kade was able to take care of quietly before any warning bells could go out. Kade paused as they got to the lobby, standing just out of sight behind the open door. Like Ursula had said, there were a lot of guards (most of which Kade knew and had various grudges with) as well as all the guests mingling and enjoying their drinks. It was a lot of people but he had seen just what Ursula was capable of before. "Do your thing, gorgeous."

It wasn't long before the whole room erupted into madness. At first it was just the guests starting to fight and argue amongst themselves, then the fighting turned physical and the guards started to get involved. It was when Kade started smelling blood and the guards had moved away from the doors that he nodded to Ursula. Of course, he couldn't help but reach behind the bar on their way out and grab a bottle of Jack to take with them.

The pair slipped out of the rising insanity of the room almost unseen, but by the time anyone noticed them it was too late. The guard running at the door just as Kade pulled the heavy metal closed and locked the enchanted shackles around the bar handles. Even if they could figure out how they were locked in there and find the key, no one would be able to get outside to unlock them and the cops wouldn't be able to get in. They would all kill each other in there, and the ones who survived could rot.

Once the door was locked and Kade felt the reality of his freedom sink in now that he was breathing fresh air (well, as fresh as LA air got), the wolf pulled Ursula in for another kiss, gratitude on his lips at her finding him after all these years. "Mmm, god I've missed you." He sighed, feeling that spark of happiness for the first time since he'd sent her away.

As soon as she heard him say he knew of a back way out, she could see that he was thinking about the other suggestion of how they could go out the front. Even smiling back up at Kade as he voiced liking that idea of making them all pay. Causing another skip of excitement within her with feeling how much it would be satisfying to know they were all going to die just like Salvatore. Not even knowing or caring about any of the others trapped down there let alone any of the guards or vile guests. So even though it suddenly felt cold the moment she was set down so that he could grab the shackles, Ursula continued to smile while walking out the way she had been brought down. Silently watching as Kade handled the few guards that were below blocking their path; being thrilled each time by the quick brutality of her wolf dispatching them.

It was that thrill he gave her that helped Ursula build up the energy and emotion of bloodlust. Because with making it to the lobby, being sure to stay out of sight until just the right moment to move again, just watching them all enjoying themselves had her wanting them to suffer even more. And with Kade’s words of encouraging her, the siren had a wicked grin curl upon her lips as she began to focus on the emotional atmosphere… narrowing her gaze on a pair of guest first that were already appearing to be in a heated discussion.

So with bringing out her control over emotions, Ursula gave a quick lick of her lips before puckering them up to expel the air through the little opening. Whistling in a tone so high that it would go unnoticed as she was using her gifts to rise the level of violence within the first targets. And like wild fire as she shifted her eyes from one person to the next amongst the crowd, the longer she whistled the more heated everybody got… until it grew into a raging inferno of anger and bloodlust that could no longer be stopped. Filling the place with the scent of blood upon the air as the first of the killings began. And as it grew even after she ran out of breath and halted the whistling, Ursula looked to Kade as he gave a nod in signaling that it was time to move now. Giving a nod in return to let him lead the way this time since he was far better at fighting then her.

And as she was quickly following her wolf through the growing massacre exploding around them, the siren could practically taste the copper of the blood with how thick the scent was getting in the air. Making her be sure to stay close to Kade just in case they were spotted before making it all the way out.

Thankfully to their quick steps and right timing, it wasn’t until they had passed through the entrance that they were spotted by a few guards. And with seeing them trying to rush to them to stop the werewolf from escaping, Ursula simply gave a smile and mocking wave goodbye as Kade slammed the door upon their faces. She even gave a dark chuckle as she watched him take the shackles that had once help him captive and clamped them upon the handles to lock them all in. Sealing them all in to die as the sound of screams and bloodshed filled the building. But while knowing that every single one of them inside was going to die and suffer was joyous, it didn’t compare to how she felt again the moment Kade turned his attention onto her.

Especially as he closed the small distance swiftly to pull her into his arms once more to kiss her; causing her pulse to instantly race as she close her eyes and eagerly kissed him back while wrapping her own arms around him.

“I’ve missed you so much,” Ursula softly breathed out against his lips in reply to his words. Even slowly opening her eyes to look into his as she continued. “I was afraid I would never find you… never get to see you again.” Feeling her chest swell with relief and elation that her fears hadn’t came true as she kissed him deeply again. Because after years of waiting for Kade before finally searching for him for far longer, she had her werewolf once more and he was more than alive and kicking.

Watching Ursula work her magic thrilled him as much as she got excited watching him take care of things. Where Kade was all force and fierce brute strength though, Ursula's methods were almost like art. Certainly the only art that Kade had ever been able to appreciate. He kept a watch out while she sowed the murderous seeds throughout the room, but it was hard not to get distracted by the glowing violet of her eyes and how effortlessly the people in the room started to fall to her spell like dominos.

As he shut the heavy doors and locked all those people in and damned them to their deaths, it seemed like the only proper way that they could have ended this chapter on his life. He knew in some ways it wasn't over. Kade was arrogant, but not enough to think he'd gotten out of this place without any psychological scars. Right now, with Ursula in his arms though it was easy to ignore that and only be grateful that he was free.

"I can't believe you found me." He mumbled against her full lips, not sure anymore how much of his joy and lust was his own and how much was being amplified by her. He had so many questions, as he was sure she did as well, but out in the open was hardly the place to ask them.

Kade pulled away regrettably to look down into her eyes. "Where are you staying?" He didn't know how good he was going to be for traveling tonight, but he needed someplace safe to crash at least for the night until he knew what her plan was. "We should get out of the street. I don't exactly blend in." Kade didn't really think anyone would be able to come after them, but he could tell that he was already getting looks; this shoeless, dirty, half-naked beast of a man bleeding from his side with an elegant beauty in his arms. It wasn't hard to see why people would stare.

In a way Ursula also couldn’t believe that she had finally gotten a bit of good luck with the lead that brought her there. After all, with how many times a possible lead got her nowhere and only empty handed each time, she had partially expect the same when she came there. Having been ready for disappointment in finding that it was a different wolf similar to Kade but not him. Thankfully though, with being in his arms and getting to hear his voice and taste his lips again, disappointment was far from what she felt. Not being able to help how strong she felt with how much she had missed him and how long she had dreamt of being with him again. Not realizing that some of her emotions were leaking from her and into him while his own were feeding into hers. As if causing a cycle of elation and desire to radiate through them.

Though, with once more having him pull back and put some space between them, the siren realized how distracted she was getting. Because with his question on where she was staying, it slapped her like a hand to the back of the head that they were still standing out in the open where people could see them. Which was not good since Kade was right about standing out. Because sure passersby wouldn’t know what was happening within the house they stood in front of, but with the sight of the giant of a man standing there bloody and dirty with nearly nothing on… well that would be sure to spark somebody walking by to most likely call the cops. Something she really did not want to deal with since that could threaten the wolf’s renewed freedom.

So with a nod in agreeing that they should get out of there completely, Ursula took Kade by the hand and turned to begin heading towards her car that was parked just a few feet from the driveway entrance.

“I’m currently staying at the SunDew Motel under a false name,” she softly answered while leading the way to the Nova he had given her after their first year together. Quickly releasing his hand to reach into her purse to pull out the keys and unlock it once reaching their final measure of escaping. And after hurrying over to the driver side to climb in herself and bring the beast to life once Kade was inside, the siren casually pulled out to start driving away from the house of death. Trying not to pull more attention onto them as she was putting distance between them and the hell the werewolf had been stuck in for god knows how long. Making sure to avoid main roads as she drove towards the motel.

But with not being able to keep from looking over at him while driving, the darkness of the blood still seeping from the wound on his side sparked her worry to rise above her joy at having him next to her. “Are you going to be alright?” Ursula asked with concern thick in her voice as she looked between the road ahead of her and the bleeding wolf. “That looks like it might need stitched up.” Knowing how silver wounds were stunted from their natural healing rate and not being the first time she had helped him patch up after a fight.

Under any other circumstances, Kade might have been amused that Ursula had gotten so distracted by him that she'd been oblivious to what he might look like to everyone else on the street right now. His words seemed to bring her back to the present though and she grabbed his hand and led her to where she'd parked her car. Kade's hand slipped easily around hers, nearly engulfing it with his large calloused one.

As soon as the car was in sight, Kade knew which was hers immediately. It was hard not to remember the candy apple red Nova that he'd bought her on their one year anniversary. Just like Ursula, it appeared to have hardly aged at all. She'd clearly taken good care of it even without him doing all the routine maitenence for her, which he had to admit made him feel good. "You still have the Nova." Kade stated, smiling at her as she unlocked the doors and he slipped in the passenger seat.

The more distance that they put between him and that place, the more relaxed he allowed himself to feel. It was hard to go from a constant state of stress and being on edge to relaxing at all, but he was managing to try. He suspected it would be easier after a shower, some time with his girl, and sleep in a real bed.

Kade had nearly forgotten the pain until Ursula was looking over at him. Lifting his arm with a grimace to get a better look at it, Kade put his hand over the wound to keep himself from bleeding too much (more) over the upholstery of her car. "Probably does. That leech had shit for aim but he dug it in deep." It had been angled enough to miss anything important. It hurt like a bitch and wouldn't stop bleeding, but Kade wasn't going to die as long as they took care of it. "It needs to be patched to get the bleeding to stop, but I'll be fine." He assured her. She'd patched him up from worse and he always bounced back. "You're not getting rid of me that easy." Kade flashed her a wolfish grin, reaching over to rest his hand on her thigh while she drove.

“Of course I still have her,” she had replied with a smile. Proud that she still had the Nova after all these years as she brought it to life with the turn of a key. Having spent thousands of dollars on making sure she stayed up on the maintenance and kept the car in as great condition as she could. “I kept everything I could that was part of you.” Including their daughter whom she loved and cherished as much as she did Kade. Though, that was something she knew she would have to wait on telling him. Because with still being in the process of fleeing the scene, Ursula thought that it wasn’t the best time to bring up Oona. He needed time to adjust to being free before laying that on him just yet. Letting him slowly relax on at his own pace as she drove.

Seeing the grimace upon his face though after his attention was brought back to the wound on his side, the siren felt a touch more worried. Especially as he moved his hand to press on it to try and slow the bleeding more while admitting it needed stitches. But it didn’t seem to be life threatening, which helped make her less worried even if she was silently hoping that she had everything to help patch him up if she had to stitch him up. Knowing she had a lot within the first aid kit she had made and always carried within the trunk her car. And when he gave a wisecrack about not getting rid of him that easily, it had her chuckle and smile in return. Helping her also relax a bit with feeling his hand on her thigh. The warmth of it having her wish that the fabric of her dress wasn’t blocking the skin to skin contact she could be feeling.

So to have some skin on skin, Ursula placed a hand on top of his while she drove; only lifting it when she had to shift but always putting it right back upon his much larger hand. It was a nice reminder that he was really there with feeling the weight of his hand, keeping her from worrying that this was just her imagination. Plus she always loved even the smallest touch from him… especially after having gone so long without it.

And it wasn’t until finally pulling up to the motel and parking the Nova right in front of her room, the siren reluctantly broke what little contact they had to climb out after silencing the engine.

After hurrying around to the trunk to pull out the small duffle bag that was her first aid kit, she then hurried over to the room’s door and unlocked it for them after Kade was done climbing out of the car. And after walking in and holding the door open for him before closing it, Ursula quickly locked it behind them once both were within the room. Looking him over again even as she began to move further in and towards the bathroom. “Let’s go in here to clean you up,” she said while turning on the light within the bathroom and setting the bag down on the counter next to the sink. Unbuttoning and stripping off the dress-jacket she had on over her dress to give her more freedom to move without feeling restricted.

Having her hand on his during the drive helped him as much as it was helping her. Half of him was still convinced this was all some vivid dream and he was still in the pit. Or, worse, that he was dead. Granted dying and going anywhere that resembled a 'heaven' or 'paradise' seemed highly unlikely considering how he lived his life. His would be with Ursula though, there were no doubts in his mind about that.

Once they'd pulled into the motel lot and parked, Kade carefully got out of the car and followed her into the room. He couldn't tell how much blood he'd lost at this point but he was going to guess around a pint between the end of the fight, killing all those people, and the car ride. Enough that the large man was feeling it as he walked and let her take him into the bathroom.

As much as he knew he needed to get his wound closed, he needed the shower more. At this point, he thought, he could deal with the pain for another ten minutes while he scrubbed off the sweat, blood, and grime of that hell hole. "I should probably shower off first." Kade told Ursula, already stripping down and turning on the water. Flashing her a smirk, "Then you can have your way with me." Kade teased. If not for his sake, the shower would at least make him a lot more pleasant to sleep next to later.

Tossing the shorts he had been wearing straight into the garbage, figuring Ursula could find him some clothes before they left here, Kade got in and showered off as much of the grime as he could before washing his long hair. He had to support himself against the wall about half way through, but he made the whole process as quick as possible. Once he was done, Kade toweled out his hair and wrapped the towel around his waist before finding a place to sit down so she could take care of the stab wound on his side.

Ursula could see the slow movements when he had climbed out of the car, could sense that he was feeling a little weak and the pain of the wound finally peeking through the adrenaline that had been coursing through him. It had her worry a little more. But with feeling like they were someplace safe, she knew that they just needed to close the wound so that he could rest and regain his strength. So even though she wanted to protest as Kade talked about washing up first, not wanting him to bleed out more, Ursula gave a nod in understanding his reasoning. After all, he was a bit filthy and this was probably the first real shower he had. Because she had not seen any form of a bathing place other than a sink when she had seen his cell.

And with his smirk and tease about having her way with him once he was done, it helped melt away the worry as she smiled back. Even more so as she watched him strip out of the shorts and toss them into the trash. Once again getting to see all of him and making her fingers suddenly ache with the want to touch him.

Yet, she resisted and just gladly watched him as his large frame stepped into the shower. Being greatly distracted as she was taking in the sight of the water running down on him, rippling along all the muscles as he moved to wash himself. It was becoming so hard to keep herself from just climbing in with Kade and assisting him while she was watching; but while she was admiring the sight of him, seeing the wound was a reminder that she had to get things pulled out of her first aid bag. Causing her to reluctantly tear her gaze from watching him through the shower curtain and turn to open the small duffel bag. Quickly rummaging through it to find what she needed to stitch up and dress the stab wound upon his side. Not being able to help look over her shoulder though when she heard the water stop, briefly watching him towel off before finishing getting everything ready.

“Here, take these. I know they won’t last long but it’ll help for now since it’ll at least kick in quickly,” Ursula said while grabbing a pill bottle out of the bag. Shaking out three painkillers into her palm and handing them to Kade. And after turning back to the counter to grab and prep the thread and needle, giving him just another minute or two for the drug to start working a little, she moved over next to him where the wound was and knelt down to be face level. Looking up at him for a moment in hoping this wouldn't hurt him before looking to the wound and carefully beginning to stitch it up.
